All members and prospective members of the Hawai‘i Academy of Recording Arts are invited to attend the 2008 General Membership Meeting to be held on November 11, 2008 at Willows Restaurant, 901 Hausten St, Honolulu. A buffet lunch will be served at 11AM, and the meeting will begin at 12PM, and will include the installation of the new Board of Governors. The Board of Governors would like to encourage all members who have released eligible recordings in 2008 to enter their releases as soon as possible. While the entry deadline for the 2009 Nā Hōkū Hanohano Awards is January 31, 2009, having entries submitted sooner will assist the board and selection committee process the entries and produce the preliminary ballot in an expedient manner.
